GIS Data Lead

I am proud to be working with a mid-size Supply Chain Management Consultancy who are looking for a GIS Data Lead to work on a hybrid pattern in their Reading Office on a 6-month contract basis. The Data Lead is required to work with non-geospatial data and geospatial data in all its forms. Using software and tools you will carry out transformations and analysis to generate insights to support operations, project managers and policy makers.

You will also be required to follow processes closely and digitise utility data accurately, process new orders and support with the quality checking of deliverables. You will be a self-starter and identify opportunities to add value to the product / service we provide to our clients. You will support the team below you and resolve queries they may have. The position will also have some senior level stakeholder engagement involved.

Essential Criteria:

• Experience using computer aided design software and GIS Mapping systems including AutoCAD and ArcGIS Pro
• Knowledge of GIS methodologies and principles.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft technology, including SQL and Power BI.
• Demonstratable data analytical skills.

Additional, Desirable Criteria:

• Experience in a senior position with stakeholder engagement.
