Job Title: Lead / Senior Safety Engineer
Location: Germany (Preferred), Remote within Europe Considered with Travel as Required

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Engineer/Manager with expertise in Model-Based System Engineering / Analysis (MBSE) to join our clients team. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and reliability of their unmanned aerial systems & vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UAV/Rotorcraft safety analysis, and model-based engineering. This role will be responsible for leading safety assessments, managing documentation, and overseeing subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Management: Lead the safety engineering efforts for our UAS projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Safety Assessments: Perform and oversee MBSE safety assessments
Aircraft Group Activities: Coordinate and manage the safety-related activities across the aircraft group, ensuring that all safety engineering tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Subcontractor Management: Oversee and coordinate the activities of subcontracted safety engineers, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in safety engineering / management, with knowledge in Model-Based System/Safety Engineering techniques (min. 1 year)
Good understanding with UAS or Helicopter/Rotorcraft Safety Requirements

Compensation & Work:

Very competitive - compensation can be salaried or paid out as a contractor.

Remote Work: The position offers the possibility of remote work within the EU, with occasional travel to site as required.
