Chief Engineer - Electronics - Bristol - £90,000

A very rare opportunity has arisen in Bristol, for a Chief Engineer to join a new office of a very established defence organisation to spearhead the upgrade and development of the UK's military radios.

This position offers the chance to utilise your in-depth understand of analogue electronics, by reverse engineering a products technology, pushing through its NCSC accreditation in the UK, forward engineering the design of something new and rolling this out to UK and eventually NATO.

You can build out and manage a team of 20 engineers to help deliver this piece of work, or can stay purely within the tech as the team is built for you.

Depending on your background the role could by customer facing and involve a level of networking around your relationships and contacts within 3rd parties and the NCSC, or it'll see you purely concentrate on the product with a very deep understanding of radios (HF/VHF/L-Band).

They will help with relocation, offer working from home, have brand new office and lab space for you to work from, holiday, pension & medical.
