Contract Lean Consultant

6 Months (Initially)

£550-£575 per day (Inside IR35)

Hybrid/ Bristol, Midlands, Barrow, London OR Glasgow

A new contract has become available with a Defence consultancy in the recruitment of Lean Consultant.

Working on a maritime MoD project, you'll be responsible for implementing new strategy within the logistics and supply chain department to ensure seamless delivery of the project.

Additionally, there is also a position available with an emphasis on organisation design, facilitating Lean workshops, which does not require a background in Supply Chain/ Logistics.

This is an initial 6-month contract, paying between £550-575 per day (inside IR35) and offering hybrid working (averaging days on-site per week).

Please note this role will require travel across the UK to the end-clients sites. Your base office will be the one located closest to you, and expenses will be covered to the other locations.

To be considered, they're looking for:

• Manufacturing background within supply chain and logistics OR organisational design
• Proven experience of leading and facilitating continuous improvement programmes using Lean thinking principles and operational excellence practices
• Effective formal and informal communications with senior key stakeholders
• Active SC (Sole UK nationals only) (Sorry the client cannot accept consultants without active SC.)
