iO Associates is looking for a Photonics Engineer to work on an initial 6-month contract basis, for a client specialising in cyber security.

Designing and developing arguably the best security technologies on the market now, the client has received significant funding to implement their secure systems into companies worldwide.

Joining a brand-new applications team, specifically built for the secure communications integration, you will develop and engineer robust and deployable photonics systems for chip-based quantum secure communication technologies and IP generation.

Skill set required:

• Significant experience of the design, implementation, characterisation, and operation of complex integrated photonic circuits (platforms such as InP, SoI, SiON)
• Experience of the interfacing software and hardware control of photonic circuits
• Cryptography experience

Although initially offered on a 6-month basis, there is a strong likelihood of extension as the project is forecasted for a year.
