Please note, to be considered for this role you must already have SC clearance.

iO Associates have partnered with a globally respected Defence Firm, in the recruitment of a Software Safety Engineer, to work across multiple defence programmes.

The role will entail you being the SME of Software Safety, and be responsible for shaping the strategy and raising awareness of high integrity software.

Day to day you will ensure systems are qualified to internationally recognised standards and provide guidance, ensuring the team develop necessary deliverables.

To be considered for this contract, key requirements needed include:

• Strong background as a Software Safety Engineer.
• Defence Standards (Def Stan 00-055, IEC 61508, DO-178C and DO-254)
• Hold a current SC clearance.
