iO Associates are currently seeking an embedded software engineer and C++ developer to become part of successful company that develops software enabled, leading edge test & measurement products that test network equipment to the latest telecoms standards. It would be on a short to medium term basis in Scotland. This is a stream of contract work that will contribute to the architecture, implementation, and evolution of system software to keep it performant, scalable, flexible, and maintainable as requirements evolve

You, the successful embedded software engineer will be working on expanding product portfolio. As part of this growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a C++ Linux Software Engineering contractor to work on network emulation products. They're looking for someone who is confident in estimating timescales based on an outline of the implementation and then developing and delivering quality software to those timescales and as a result will be responsible for Support quality-oriented activities necessary to deliver a product that will delight our customers

Skills required:

• Educated to Degree level in Computer Science or an equivalent subject
• C++ programming experience
• Multithreaded programming experience
• Experience employing OO techniques
