Responsibilities:

Implement cutting-edge data engineering concepts and databases, including generative AI and vector databases.
Develop data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and enriching data from diverse sources.
Construct data models to facilitate business decision-making and analytics.
Collaborate across teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions through the complete software development lifecycle.
Write efficient and sustainable code to maintain data pipelines and models.
Contribute to building scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
Participate in design and code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field.
Proficient in programming languages essential to data engineering, like Python.
Extensive knowledge of data modeling, including SQL, NoSQL, Graph, and Vector databases.
Interest in adopting new data engineering trends, such as generative AI and vector databases.
Hands-on experience with data platforms, integration tools, data warehouses, and analytics in a Cloud environment, preferably Google Cloud.
Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
Openness to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
Experience with CI/CD tools and agile methodologies preferred.
