About the Client
Microsoft Gold Partner and leading digital transformation consultancy seeks a highly qualified Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant to join its expanding team.

What will you be doing:

  • Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Consulting and help manage key projects.
  • Stay informed about updates and new features in D365, recommending and implementing improvements accordingly, with a particular focus on Power Apps.
  • Act as finance lead for all system enhancements and development activity; Support the delivery of configuration changes and review new system features.
  • Complete relevant documentation.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, collaborating with IT support as needed. Including ensuring interfaces links between systems work effectively and understanding/resolving issues.


Essential Skills:

  • 2 + years experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)
  • Experience in ERP systems administration, configuration and optimisation across the full finance system lifecycle.
  • Proven track record of excellence in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and clear communication.
  • Ensuring that the Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance implementation is correctly configured and customised.
  • Dynamics 365 Finance experience across multiple full lifecycle implementations of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
  • In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations functionality and project lifecycle, wide modular experience: Finance, Project Accounting, HR, Trade & Logistics, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
  • Designing Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance modifications to allow the customer to perform any procedures which have been identified as gaps.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management experience



Highly Desirable Skills & Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of core financial functions, including fixed assets, budgeting, cash management, consolidation, and credit control.
  • Proven understanding of sales, marketing, procurement, and sourcing processes.
  • Experience with compliance and quality management frameworks.
  • Solid foundation in project management and accounting practices.
  • Experience with software lifecycle management tools (e.g., Microsoft Lifecycle Services, Azure DevOps)..
  • Prior experience in people management and mentoring is highly regarded.
  • Awareness of business intelligence and artificial intelligence tools (Copilot, Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services).
