Job Title: Field Engineer - In-Vitro Diagnostics

Salary: upto £50,000/pa

Location: Travel involved (Around UK, Europe, and some parts of USA)

Role Overview:

IO Associates is looking for a Field Service Engineer for a company who are revolutionizing healthcare by providing affordable, real-time nucleic acid amplification systems for rapid genetic stratification markers. Their mission is to enable rapid access to molecular diagnostics worldwide, ultimately changing lives through advanced healthcare solutions.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a field engineer or service technician role.
  • Relevant qualifications supporting the position offered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot medical devices both on-site and remotely, utilizing specialized software and tools.
  • Diagnose hardware and software issues, initiating corrective events to meet customer and company expectations.
  • Commission and decommission medical devices within healthcare institutions.
  • Conduct subsystem-level fault finding based on technical documentation and electronic diagrams.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Personable with a solution-focused can-do attitude.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting technical issues in person or over the phone.
  • Experience in handling ESD sensitive subsystems and reading engineering drawings.
  • Experience with IT technologies such as Bluetooth, BLE, IP networks, etc.
