IT Support Engineer - Windows - £30,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for one of Gloucestershire's busiest and fastest-growing IT Service Providers. An IT business which is experiencing rapid expansion and creating new roles from continual success.

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be expected to offer remote support from HQ, whilst attending client sites when setting up new solutions, or when working on large projects. A full driving licence will be required.

Being an IT Support Engineer, you will be experienced across a range of technologies, including Server Infrastructure, Networking (Routing, Switching or Firewalls), Desktop Applications or VoIP.

Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies would be ideal, and knowledge or certifications across these environments would be highly desirable.

Successful IT Support Engineers will have:

• At least 3 years' commercial experience within an IT support role.
• A full, clean driving license (to enable client support visits).
• Microsoft Certifications, or able to become certified.

Areas of expertise you will cover:

• Microsoft Windows and Apple Desktops.
• Microsoft Windows Server Infrastructure.
• Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Cloud Based Infrastructure.
• Hyper-V and VMware.
• Wireless technologies, point-to-point links.
• Broadband and connectivity solutions.
• Hosted VoIP telephony.
• Firewalls, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam or DLP.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery.

Base salary paying between £24,000-30,000 per annum, dependant on experience, accompanied with company pension scheme and health insurance.

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday.
