Title: Laboratory Specialist

Duration: 7+ Months (LIKELY TO BE EXTENDED)

Location: Broughton.

Pay rate: Up to £35 per hour.

An innovative company at the forefront of the aerospace industry, located in Broughton is actively seeking a Laboratory Specialist to join its engineering team. The company is globally recognized for its innovation and contributions to the aviation industry.

As a Laboratory Specialist, your role entails providing crucial support to operational business areas by employing a diverse array of testing methods and chemical analyses, both destructive and non-destructive, to ensure the integrity of products across all phases of the manufacturing process.

Tasks and responsibilities will include:

Conduct mechanical testing methods such as tensile, fatigue, and sheer testing.
Execute material testing and specialized incoming testing including hardness, electrical conductivity, spectroscopy, and peeling assessments.
Assist in failure analysis to address customer concerns.

Requirements:

Proven experience in materials and chemical analysis within an industry where adherence to processes, safety standards, and regulatory governance is paramount.
Ideally, possess a degree in engineering or a related field.
