Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

iO Associates is proud to partner with a leading Swiss MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) company. We are currently seeking a B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team in Basel.

Due to the nature of this permanent position, my client can only consider applications from EU citizens or candidates already located in Switzerland.

As a Maintenance Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to execute and oversee a range of critical tasks related to aircraft inspections, modifications, and maintenance. You will work within the scope of your license, ensuring safety and maintaining high product quality standards for all aircraft under your care. This role involves adhering to the client's procedures, authority regulations, and meeting customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough aircraft inspections to identify any issues or areas requiring attention.
Perform necessary modifications and repairs to maintain aircraft airworthiness.
Collaborate closely with the Aircraft Maintenance Team Lead and/or Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to ensure efficient operations.
Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and quality standards.
Follow client-specific procedures and comply with authority regulations.
Prioritize customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service.

Requirements

Hold a valid B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License, and an A320 type rating
Demonstrated experience in aircraft maintenance and repair.
Candidates must have EU citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit
Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality assurance.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
