Mechanical Design Engineer.


Salary: upto 160'000 CHF.
Place of work: Bern, Switzerland.
Start date: Immediately or by arrangement.
Workload: 100%.


KEY ATTRIBUTES


* Highly technically competent (as evidenced by technical skills)
* Technical vocational training (e.g., technical draftsman, designer (CH))
* No experience in medical technology or plant engineering
* 3-5 years' experience in development, successfully executing development projects (concept, drawings, manufacturing, assembly, functional tests)
* Intelligent & astute, confident & reliable individual
* Ability for analytical and abstract thinking (zoom in - zoom out)
* Grounded personality, high level of performance readiness
* Native language / German mindset (English proficiency desired)
* Solution-oriented, enjoys pushing boundaries
* Adaptability to new situations

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Proficient in:

  • CAD / PDM tools operation.
  • Drafting and tolerance handling (ISO GPS)
  • Mechanical design based on analytical calculations.
  • Capable of utilizing various manufacturing methods (e.g., sheet metal, machining, injection moulding, surface treatment)
  • Executed multiple projects across diverse industries/products, with 3-5 years' experience in development and over 2 years in supplier management.
  • Experience with mechanical simulations.
  • Proficient in conducting tests/verification of mechanical functions (e.g., geometric measurements).

For home office, initially, we require a commitment to office presence for the first six months. This allows new team members to immerse themselves in our company culture and learn from their colleagues. After this period, individuals can arrange home office schedules in collaboration with their teammates, although excessive remote work is discouraged.
