Job Title: Senior Aero Design Engineer - CAD
Location: Primarily Remote, occasional visits to Europe
Experience: minimum 1 year in motorsport and designing in CAD
Rate: £45 per Hour
Contract Length: 6 months+

iO Associates have a primarily remote, full-time contract role available as a Senior Aero Design Engineer working in CATIA 3DExperience CAD to design parts for a wind tunnel model as part of a world-class Formula 1 team.
You will be experienced in the motorsport industry and in working in CATIA, and your responsibilities will include:

Producing complex CAD models using CATIA 3DExperience
Rapid prototype manufacturing
Designing components taking into consideration the practical usability of the model, packaging studies, producibility, cost efficiency and efficient assembly
Producing detailed technical drawings
Improving the aerodynamic performance of the race car in collaboration with Aerodynamicists, other Aero Designers and across departments within a very short lead time
Continuously maintaining and improving complex and already sophisticated methodologies of CAD models and components
