Quality Engineer

iO associates are partnering with a specialised materials company who are looking for a Development Engineer to join their site near Tbilisi, Georgia, with the role focussing on ensuring product quality of production of the special materials.

The client is at the forefront of coating technology innovation and provides their customers with specially produced materials that can be used in a diverse range of applications.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in manufacturing production and a keen eye for detail.

Requirements:

  • Background in a manufacturing production environment, with a focus on product quality.
  • Business fluency in Georgian
  • Strong knowledge and experience in writing and managing quality documentation.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and processes relevant to the manufacturing industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or equivalent experience within the industry

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and measures to meet and exceed regulatory standards and customer expectations.
  • Conduct regular product evaluations, identify quality issues, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Lead the creation and revision of quality documentation from scratch, ensuring clear, comprehensive, and accessible information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality control measures throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Analyse production metrics and quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
