Senior Project Manager - Organisation Change Delivery (non-technical)
Initial 6 month contract with very likely extension
Largely remote with some travel to London or Coventry as required
£650 per day Inside IR35
BPSS clearance at the point of starting

One of iO's government client is looking for a Senior Project Manager who has a proven track record of leading moderate complexity change projects in the public sector.

The context for the role is there is a large scale Organisational Change Programme happening within this government agency, which will be affecting the teams on the ground.

The priority work areas are likely to include; supporting the design, development, and implementation of cost efficiency projects, and new target operating models across several business areas.

You will need to have significant experience leading People Change, Org Change and HR Change type projects, and must have significant experience working in the Public Sector due to the unique organisational culture.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Experience of delivering cost efficiency projects within the Public Sector e.g. re-orientation of functions, consolidation and centralisation of teams etc.
• Experience of delivering Op Model transformations and related workstreams.
• Stakeholder Management - management of change resistance, engaging with HR on related work, sensitivities etc.
• Agile experience such as a genuine experience in taking an iterative approach to delivery.
• Ability to lead multiple workstreams, adapt to changing priorities or milestones, be comfortable leading and owning medium-complexity projects with difficult stakeholders
