iO Associates are proud to partner with an award-winning, scale-up Robotics company in the search for a Service Support Engineer to join the team.

Since starting the business 7 years ago, they have successfully done this and developed an impressive AI product which is now disrupting the Food & Beverage market.

As the Service Support Engineer, your main focus will involve installing new systems whilst keeping their current systems up and running.

Main responsibilities:

  • Opportunity to diagnose and resolve hardware, network and software-related issues effectively.
  • Autonomy to provide timely technical support to clients, this could be via phone, email or in person.
  • Install and maintain company equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
  • Partake in regular system maintenance, and then perform updates and upgrades when needed.
  • Track and document customer interactions, support activities and solutions in CRM system as well as assist in the development/improvement of support processes and documentation.
  • Travelling around the UK to company and client sites

You will need:

  • 5+ years' experience in a Field Service role
  • Track record working with FMCG machinery.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Engineering background - multidisciplinary
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Formal Engineering Qualification/Apprentice trained.
