Tech Lead - GoLang

£100,000 plus 10% bonus

London - 1 day a week onsite

iO is currently partnering with an innovative world-class software company who are on the lookout for a Tech Lead to join them.

They are disrupting the life science industry and empower scientists by making automation a reality for every lab. They work with labs across the world to understand their specific workflows and needs and develop personalised solutions that range from diagnostic, and drug discovery to synthetic biology.

Role:
Their engineering team is growing to meet the increased demand for their automation platform from customers in the life-sciences industry. You will be a highly skilled and experienced engineer to capture customer requirements, guide customer projects and Product Engineering teams toward suitable solutions at the intersection of hardware and software in the life-sciences automation space.

You will be working as the Tech Lead for the team building the Cloud SaaS product with a 70/30 split between hands-on and management

They are looking for:

Previous experience leading and developing SaaS solutions
Frontend and Backend experience with Golang and React
AWS experience
Coding Infrastructure - DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (using Terraform or Terragrunt)
Hardware Data Integrations
