FinTech is one of the biggest and most exciting growth areas in the technology sector currently. It encompasses a wide variety of SMEs and start-ups developing disruptive new software and technology to shake up the finance industry and make banking services nimbler, cheaper and smarter.
This kind of boundary-pushing innovation cannot be done in a vacuum, andFinTech Connect Ltdwas launched in 2014 to provide a digital hub and meeting place for the global FinTech sector, allowing start-ups, scale-ups, tech providers, investors, financial institutions and other stakeholders from around the World to connect and do business through a free membership based community platform.
FinTech Connect host regular start-up events, technical seminars, strategic conferences and large scale exhibitions across many different areas of financial technology. They also work with start ups to provide expert guidance on product launch and growth strategies. Membership is already in the thousands and growing daily.
FinTech Connect has partnered with iO in recognition of their shared goal of helping businesses in the FinTech sector grow and fulfill their potential. The partnership will allow FinTech Connect to offer flexible staffing solutions for their clients, and enable iO to work closer with the FinTech industry and gain an even stronger understanding of the needs of businesses in this sector.
As part of this relationship, iO will be exhibiting at FinTech Connect’s conferences and will be on hand to give staffing advice and support to the industry.
iO has grown out of Panoramic Associates, a senior level staffing firm specialising in the financial services markets. This finance background, coupled with a firm focus on technology, means the iO team are perfectly placed to deliver staffing solutions to meet the needs of the cutting-edge, agile FinTech market.
In order to thrive in this dynamic sector, pioneering start-ups and SMEs need access to the very best tech talent – forward-thinking individuals with the right skills and a passion for bringing new ideas and disruption to the finance industry. Among the many roles iO recruit for on behalf of FinTech companies are front and back end developers, technical architects, solutions architects, scrum masters and a range of infrastructure and security roles.
iO Director Neil Willis-Stovold is looking forward to working closely with FinTech Connect and supporting FinTech SMEs and start-ups.
“FinTech is one of the most fast-moving, dynamic areas in technology, and as a relatively new business (albeit one with a wealth of experience under Panoramic Associates), iO is in a position to be fully flexible and reactive to the needs of clients in this sector”
“As the FinTech sector continues to grow and flourish, it is only natural that the staffing needs of start ups, scales up and establish organisations will increase” says FinTech Connect MD Steve Clarke. “We believe that iO Associates’ experience of working in high growth industries makes them the perfect partner for anyone looking for their next technical or strategic hire. They understand that this market requires an agile and flexible approach to staffing and we are delighted to partner with them.”
