iO Java Virtual Meetup - Cybercrime and the Developer
Posted on October 2020 By Bea Meyrick
iO Associates are pleased to bring the next instalment of our Java Virtual Meetups. This meetup was presented by Steve Poole, Developer Advocate at RedHat, who gave a very interesting talk on "Cybercrime and the Developer: How to Start Defending Against the Darker Side”.
The world of the cybercriminal is closer than you realise. Steve talked about how at risk our Java applications may be and showed us practical examples of how we can inadvertently leave doors open. He then walked us through actions we could take to create a more secure Java application for the cloud.
