19th May: Java Virtual Meetup - Microservices for the Masses
Tuesday, 19 May 2020
07:00 PM - 08:30 PM
iO Associates are delighted to reveal the next of our Java Virtual Meetups will be on Thursday 19th May at 7pm. We will be joined by Java Champion, Matt Raible, who will be talking on ‘Microservices for the Masses’.
Microservices are being deployed by many Java Hipsters. If you're working with a large team that needs different release cycles for product components, microservices can be a blessing. If you're working at your VW Restoration Shop and running its online store with your own software, having five services to manage and deploy can be a real pain.
This talk will walk you through how to use JHipster to create Angular + Spring Boot apps with a unified front-end. You will leave with the know-how to create your own excellent apps!
7:00 pm - Introduction by iO Associates and Speakers
7:05 pm - Matt Raible - Microservices for the Masses
8:00 pm - Q&A - questions from the floor
8:15 pm - Concluding comments and end
