Application Engineer

We're seeking a talented Application Integration System Engineer to join our clients team in Lenzburg, Switzerland. You'll play a crucial role in integrating software components into diverse customer infrastructures and providing exceptional support.

Location: Client based in Lenzburg, Switzerland

Hybrid working, 60% home office

Duration: 5 Months

Rate: 90-105 CHF p/h

Responsibilities:

• Integration Maestro: Seamlessly integrate software components into various customer infrastructures.
• Tier 2/3 Support: Provide expert-level support, troubleshooting complex issues and resolving customer inquiries.
• Method Development: Develop best practices and methodologies for efficient software solution operation.
• Collaboration Champion: Coordinate activities between end customers, internal teams, and third-party providers.
• Knowledge Sharing: Actively collaborate with software development, sales, and data specialists, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Service and Sales Support: Provide support to our service and sales departments, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth.
• Process Innovation: Contribute to the development of new services and processes to enhance our offerings.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong Technical Foundation: A solid computer science education (university or technical college degree preferred).
• Windows Server Mastery: In-depth understanding of Windows Server systems, components, and interfaces (e.g., IIS, WebAPI, TCP/IP communication).
• SQL Expertise: Proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server Administration.
• Scripting Savvy: Experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Complexity Management: Ability to navigate and manage complex processes, projects, and software requirements.
• Team Player: A collaborative and communicative individual who thrives in team environments.
• Language Skills: Fluency in German and English, with French language skills being a plus.
