Title: Atmospheric Modeller
Location: Exeter
Mode: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)

Pay Rate: £425 a day Inside

iO Associates has teamed up with a global leader serving diverse industries including energy generation, water distribution, surface transport, aviation, retail, and environmental sectors like agriculture to recruit an Atmospheric Modeller.

In this role, you will contribute to a large-scale international experiment project within the Earth System and Mitigation Science (ESMS) team, which aims to better understand and quantify how forests respond to increasing atmospheric CO2 concentrations.

Required:

• Active SC Clearance
• Proficiency in climate model execution, ideally with UM-based configurations such as UKESM.
• Expertise and familiarity with analyzing data from climate models.
• Conduct and evaluate experiments to determine how vegetation's reaction to CO2 affects current and future regional carbon sinks and ecosystems.
