AV Specialist - Birmingham - 6-Month Contract - £300 a day (Inside IR35)

iO Associates are currently looking for an AV Specialist to join my client based in Birmingham for a 6-month contract role offering up to £500 a day (inside IR35) for a January start. This role offers remote working, but you will be asked to be onsite when required to set up and help with all AV Technical requirements.

You're going to be working for a public sector organisation that is growing at an excessive rate. You'll be joining at a time where their IT team is rapidly growing and you will be responsible for providing AV and technical support and be the main point of contact for all events requiring AV & Event support. You will be setting up the physical and virtual AV tech, therefore you need to understand capture devices and must have strong experience Microsoft Teams.

You must have experience with the following:

Hands-on delivery of events either on-site or remotely via Microsoft Teams / Zoom / Google Meet
Current and up-To-Date AV and it knowledge
Proven experience of working operationally as an av technician in the conference and events industry - preferably within conference and events venue environment or with an AV supplier
Strong and demonstrable knowledge of sound, lighting, video and it systems including (But not limited to) crestron, public-I webcasting, avolites tiger touch, yamaha ls9, sennheiser ew100 and it systems
Relevant Audio Visual qualifications
Ideally have some architectural experience to help out with other IT tasks
