We are looking for an exceptionally motivated and experienced Hardware System Engineer with a background in Avionics to join our special-projects engineering unit delivering the innovative space technology & structures.

You will work in a dedicated, dynamic and internationally diverse environment that aims for excellence by creating high-performance engineering solutions while keeping prototyping and production costs at an absolute minimum. Be involved in the systems engineering team and learn the overall architecture of our high-tech but low-cost product.

Your Tasks

• Analysis of system requirements based on ECSS and generate subsystem requirements
  * Plan and execute test campaigns with the sub-systems
  * Define, simulate, and review the safety-critical electronic hardware according to requirement specification
  * Specification and support of system validation and verification according to acceptable means of compliance
  * Verify various system and subsystem level designs and the integrations between them;
  * Close cooperation with other disciplines

Your Qualificatons

• A degree in electronics engineering or an equivalent qualification;
  * Relevant experience in aerospace or space sectors and motivation to participate in the NEW Space
  * Knowledge and proven experience on FMEA, FMECA, FTA is big plus
  * Fair Knowledge on ECSS is considered advantageous
  * A good understanding of system engineering (mission definition, design, verification & validation)
  * A good understanding of Electronic hardware designs
  * Ability to review design schematics
  * Knowledge on electromechanical actuators is a plus
  * Knowledge on Altium Designer is a plus
