Dev Ops Engineer

Bristol (Currently remote due to Covid 19)

£500- £600 Per day Outside IR35

6 Month Initial contract - 10th May start date

The Dev Ops engineer will be a member of a driven and dynamic operations team, delivering operations automation to ensure the availability and integrity of the company network and service. This full time, permanent role is based in our Bristol head office (currently remote working due to Covid19).

A successful candidate will be able to:

• Deploy and maintain applications in both on-prem and cloud hosting environments
• Demonstrate considerable AWS experience for VM hosting and serverless deployments/cloud-native applications
• Express a good working knowledge of AWS Lambda
• Proven application deployment lifecycle (Integration, QA, Staging, Production)

Your role will include, owning and maintaining shared Terraform modules which the developers use for deploying code to Aws, assisting developers in writing Terraform and lambda code and maintaining several Kubernetes clusters that provide infrastructure for developers, namely the ProxySQL pods for Lambda database access.
