Azure Data Engineer - (Databricks & Azure DWH)

iO Associates are currently recruiting for a fully remote Azure Data Engineer contract for a client of ours building out their Data Lake and DWH solution in Azure. The role will be for a 6-month contract paying up to £500 per day.

The team are in the process of moving from an on-premise SQL Server environment and are looking for someone to provide guidance / implement a best practice framework within the Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions. It's very much a hands on role and requires skills across the following:

- Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Data Warehouse)
- Strong experience building reliable data pipelines.
- Databricks experience is essential
- Previous work with GIS data would be highly beneficial but not essential.
