Back-End Software Tester - Fintech - London - Up to £45,000 +

Back-end Tester

I am representing an amazing and Data-oriented London fintech who are looking for a Software Tester with around 2-3 years of experience. They have just won a huge new contract so, in spite of 'you-know-what', they are thriving and growing!

We require someone with a solid grasp of API Automation, Data-related skills (MSSQL) and some non-functional testing abilities to boot. We also need a strong grasp of Java as a language for the implementation of POM Frameworks and simply to make communication between the Development and QA teams easier.

Ultimately I am looking for a passionate software tester, perhaps in the early days of their career, who has a skillset focused primarily around back-end testing.

The succesful QA candidate will also need to be a confident communicator, as a signifigant portion of the role will be spent dealing with both internal and external stakeholders.

To summarise...we need:

• High levels of confidence, strong communication skills and business acumen
• 2-3 years of back-end Testing experience (preferably in a Fintech)
• A strong grasp of the Java language
• Strong API Automation testing skills
• Functional and non-functional Manual Testing ability
• Experience with CI pipelines - Jenkins, Git, etc
• MS SQL
