Backend Engineer (Nest.js)

Location: Central London - Full-time in the office

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

I'm fortunate to be working with an early stage start-up find themselves a well equipped backend engineer (Nest.js). This is a very exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking business kick start their growth plans, while they're on track to secure series A funding towards the end of the year.

They are dedicated to a higher purpose, eager to leave their mark on the world! - Looking now for someone to join them on this purpose driven journey, and be a part of their mission to empower farmers, their families and the future generations. They are looking to support the masses of smallholder producers that are in fact producing the majority of our food supply.

Collectively, they are disrupting the food supply chain and the multi-trillion-dollar food tech industry. They are a small, growing team, passionate about leveraging the latest technologies to address a massive gap in the food supply industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Working on new features while translating user feedback into implementation.
  • Collaborative delivery of software.
  • Support other team members with pairing, mentoring and code reviews.

Skills Required:

  • Experienced with Javascript/Typescript
  • Comfortable using Nest.js
  • Skilled in or have an interest in Back-end Architecture, AI and Algorithms.
  • Any mobile application experience is useful

Considering the start-up culture, they are needing someone to attend their office full-time, they have a lovely state of the art office located in Central London, in one of the most eye catching of areas.
