Our client is looking to hire a Business Analyst within their organisation. Their growth has been monumental recently and they are recruiting both a BA and a PM to work on this product. They have a myriad of other data products and projects, hence there will be no shortage of need for a great BA in this company and you will have the opportuniy to sink your teeth into various endeavours.

Understanding data is crucial as you will work within the BI team along with the PM, BI developers, data engineers, database, SQL and ETL developers. You will have the opportunity to help create, maintain and improve the handling of data from many sources, look at the data journey and inlfuence internal and external stakeholders.

However, the soft skills are even more important since you will have many stakeholders who have very little technical experience. As any BA would, you will capture requirements, do workshops, write user stories, use Jira, Confluence etc and work closely with the project manager, hence you will not need to manage the whole project yourself - as it is sometimes the case in other companies.

The main project is about increasing the popularity of the company's articles within the media industry. This project is aimed at making the existing data product a real staple for their stakholders so much so that it will become an operation software and will be widely used throoughout the company and within their client base.

Essentials:

- Experience working with data or on data projects, for example data migrations, ERP, Business Intelligence
- Excellent soft skills, the split between stakeholders will be half technical, half non-technical
- Pragmatic approach to Agile (currently Kanban in the BI team but can change when the PM will arrive)

Desirable:
- Familiar with Agile methodology (the company is currently using Kanban but this could change)

If this is a role that could be of interest to you, apply as soon as possible and I will give you more information.
