C4i Senior Systems Engineer

Permanent Senior Systems Engineers | Bristol

iO Associates have partnered with a leading defence electronic company who are going through huge growth. They are looking for experienced Systems Engineers to be the technical lead of Land-based systems projects at the Bristol unit.

Your day-to-day responsibilities at the role are defining systems functions, requirements, and sub-system specifications. These should ensure that requirements testing can be carried out and requirements issues are identified.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in working with MoD or other defence projects
• Understanding of ISO Standards (ISO15288)
• Understanding of software tools (e.g., IBM DOORs)
• Systems or requirements engineering background
• Understanding of 'V-Cycle'
• Systems/Requirements Engineering background

An ideal candidate will also have some knowledge in software engineering, more particularly C++ or Java; and experience in development of C4I systems.
