I am currently looking for two talented Clinical Safety Officers to join an existing team of 16 Clinical Safety Officers to operate as an independent CSO supporting over 150 software manufacturers and healthcare organisations!

You will work with the leading digital health providers and NHS Trusts to solve their assurance challenges and with such a wide variety of clients, you will need to find different ways to consult with each individual, be ready to learn and be prepared for a new challenge every day.

Background and expertise required

• Experience of either the manufacture or implementation of health IT systems in the NHS is essential. Whilst an in-depth knowledge of specific technologies is not required, you must be prepared to gather, understand and discuss technical information which might be relevant to the safety of a particular digital health solution.
• Whilst experience of working as a Clinical Safety Offer or on DCB 0129/0160 compliance projects in the past would be preferred, extensive training will be provided on the precise methods and techniques involved.
• The role requires you to construct documentation using language of the utmost precision and clarity. Similarly, you will need to explain to customers complex procedural concepts and techniques both verbally and in written form.
• You must demonstrate impeccable consultancy skills and be able to manage multiple complex projects and customers simultaneously.

You'll also need to:

• Be a clinician with at least three years' clinical experience
• Be currently registered with a suitable professional body relevant to their training and experience
