Role: Cloud Engineer (private cloud)
Location: Bern, Switzerland
Salary: 100-125k CHF
Working model: Hybrid, 80% home office

This diverse and enthusiastic team in Bern are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join their mission to bring cloud based solutions to customers across Switzerland. In a flexible environment where you are in control of your working methods, you can be assured of a great work/life balance.
With a core focus on Cloud Native development in the private cloud space, a background in systems engineering is a huge bonus for the role as you'll be working closely with the software and hardware engineers in the team, to provide the best managed solutions for the customers.
Your tasks
- Manage and coordinate private cloud projects.
- Liaise with both HW and SW manufacturers for the development of your solutions.
- Support other teams and contribute toward your company's own cloud products.
- Work closely with the customers, partners, and engineering team, communicating your solutions well.
Your skills
- Experience conceiving, managing, and delivering private cloud solutions.
- Higher education in Computer Science, or related subject.
- System engineering background (virtualisation/storage/HW).
- Strong English and German language skills.
Soft skills
- Excellent time management and accountability due to the large amount of remote work.
- Able to communicate well with customers.
- An enthusiastic, driven and motivated personality.
