Combat Systems Engineer | Bristol

What we're looking for;

Due to our recent success securing multiple new contracts, we now require talented individuals to join us on this exciting journey.

The Electronics Warfare department are looking to hire a combat systems engineer to join us across a number of projects within the division.

You would be involved in the development and design of EW products for the UK MoD and specifically looking at EW & Combat Systems for the Royal Navy. With a number of different product lines and upcoming programmes the role will allow you to work across a complex array of subsystems covering software and hardware development. You will have the opportunity to work on the full system lifecycle and take responsibility for the success of your hard work.

The ideal candidate will have an appreciation of combat systems, ideally from a naval perspective but aerospace or even land based combat communication/radar systems would be a useful experience for the role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join us as we continue to grow our UK operations and also liaise with our foreign subsiduaries that are renowned for the production of bleeding edge EW & Combat systems.

This role comes with an excellent opportunity to help scope the continued growth of the division and would see the individual joining at a at a time where they would be involved in forging the future growth a direction and be involved in both in flight and also future R&D and bid work.

Experience required;

• Combat Systems & subsystems design

• Experience of Naval Combat Systems or Royal Navy Platforms

• Systems architecture and systems design experience

• DOORS experience
