Senior Commercial Manager (A&S)

We are hiring a senior commercial manager to join our Aerospace & Simulation business unit. As senior commercial manager you will be responsible for all commercial matters relating to the programme and act as advisor to the project and programme teams on all commercial matters.

The role will see you working directly with the commercial director as well as commercial officers and project teams on matters ranging from bid preparation to negotiation plans and customer engagement.

Positions will see you supporting the commercial elements of CAT A & B programmes for the UK MoD & Royal Navy.

Responsibilities will include:

• Acting as advisor on all commercial matters

• Maintaining corporate wide consistent approach to commercial positions for the business unit

• Reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions, frameworks & subcontracts

• Maintaining currency on MHG & MoD contracting policies and tendering procedures

What we're looking for:

• Commercial experience as commercial manager within defence programmes

• Experience of pre & post contract management

• Knowledge of UK MoD procurement process'

• Ability to interpret & negotiate terms and conditions

• Individuals with business acumen and a sense for commercial risk
