IO Associates have partnered with a world-leading company that provides their services to every single one of us on a day-to-day basis. You'll be working remotely three days of the week and going into the office the remainder of the working week.
You, the successful Strategic Communications Manager will be:
Planning, leading and delivering specialist communication projects using both internal and external
resources to support the purpose of the Services Directorate and help its staff feel informed,
motivated, and cohesive.
Measuring success of internal communications and engagement and adjust and amend plans in
response to this feedback.
Liaising with and advising senior stakeholders within the Services Directorate and across the
Change Team to provide communications guidance.
Encouraging and developing initiatives that enable and improve communications between different teams, both formally and informally
Engaging in wider internal communications activities, as discussed with the Senior Corporate and
Internal Communications Manager, to support the delivery of wider Strategic Actions and
Anchors.
Keeping up to date with current industry practices, and sharing knowledge throughout the team, to
ensure continuous improvement in the way the given company uses the specialism to deliver its
Communications and Engagement strategy.
What will you need?
Qualification in communications (or a related subject) and in-depth experience in strategic communications planning and delivery across a range of channels within a complex organisation with a distributed workforce
Be able to balance multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced environment, focusing on outcomes and managing of resources
Gathering and using insight, excellent strategic thinking, problem solving and judgement skills, to deliver well defined and considered recommendations
Effective at networking with the ability to establish mutuality beneficial long-term internal and external working relationships and ability to play an active role in cross team forums
Act as an advisor to, people from a range of work-related disciplines and at different levels of the organisation
Excellent written and verbal skills
A broad experience and understanding of internal and corporate communications and change communications
