Contract Quality Engineer

12 months (Initially)

£55 per hour (Inside IR35)

East Sussex

iO Associates has partnered with a Defence client in the Brighton area, in the recruitment of a Quality Engineering contractor.

They're looking for you to primary support the Operational requirements and Supplier Quality Assurance activities, carrying out process and product-based quality audits.

A summary of your role responsibilities (but not limited to) include:

  • QA requirements review and implementation.
  • DCR QA approvals
  • Audit suppliers
  • Ensuring corrective and preventative action have been implemented.
  • Customer and 3rd Party auditor liaison

Key skillset:

  • Fully conversant with ISO 9001 and AS9100
  • Previous Factory experience
  • PFMEA/PPAP
  • QFD

Please note, as this contract is for a Defence client, active SC is required. Additionally, the role will be on-site but the option to work a 4-day condensed week Is available.
