iO Associates are currently seeking an experienced software engineer for a 6 month contract working remotely which is likely to extend as part of a new programme of long term work. This is a stream of contract work which will involve investigation of an existing graphics system (card and software).
The company are a market leading defence firm with a strong reputation in the market. The role will involve defining the system graphics memory requirements and Identifying a suitable graphics card taking account of the existing hardware solution to minimise rework. You'll also be looking to Identify the causes of performance issues and define solutions to implement improvements.
Skills Required:
- Strong software graphics background
- OpenGL
- Linux
- C Programming
- GPU/VRAM Understanding
- Eligible for SC clearance
