Role: Contract Software Project Manager
Contract Length: 6 Months (Initially)
Rate: £45per hour
Location: Sussex / Remote

A major defence company based in Sussex are looking to recruit a Software Project Manager with a strong engineering background and experience in managing embedded software teams/projects. This is an initial 6 month contract which is extremely likely to extend and is part of a long term stream of work on a new defence programme.

The role will suit someone who can manage the delivery of software to the core software development team and ensure appropriate release information is gathered (From JIRA) and handed over.

Key requirements:

• JIRA
• Strong Agile SCRUM background
• Previous embedded software experience
• SC Cleared or Eligible for SC Clearance
• Eclipse . IDE CODEO (beneficial)
