iO Associates are currently on the lookout for a Software Systems Engineer to work on a contract basis for an ambitious and rapidly growing defence company in Bristol.

Day to day you will leading of the design and development of software architectures, requirements, and specifications on a new Electronic Warfare Command and Control System.

On offer to you is an initial 6-month contract (highly likely to extend), plus a hybrid model of working (3 on-site, 2 remote) and a competitive rate of £500-550 per day (outside IR35).

To be considered, key skills required are:

* Knowledge of DOORS

* UML/SYSML

* Safety Standards (12207, 15288, or similar)
