iO Associates are currently seeking a Systems Engineer with a background in Training Simulators, ideally within the navy industry, for a 6-month contract. This is a stream of contract work on a new Navy / defence simulation training programme which has just had official sign off and will likely extend.

The company are a globally respected defence firm that are undergoing a project focused on adopting several legacy training simulators and technically refreshing them.

You, the successful simulation systems engineer will be working at the forefront of providing technical support, delivering reports and insight into the legacy systems that the company will be inheriting. You should ideally be a rounded systems engineer who is able to provide technical insight into the full capability of the simulator system whilst determining the scope, from component level through to interface.

Skills required:

• Experience in training simulation systems
• Design reviews and acceptance activities
• Architectural frameworks/systems architecture design documentation
• Navy industry experience (beneficial)
• Integration (component level up to systems level)
