Controls Engineer - Capital Equipment Design

iO Associate have partnered with a company in search of a Controls Engineer on a permanent basis to join their team following a significant investment into facilities and staff. Based in Letchworth, they develop special purpose machinery, typically Ophthalmic machines that clean and coat high precision instruments / products.

I've worked with them for fives year and, in the last two years, they have moved and refurbished brand new offices, They have also introduced some senior level hires into the business that have seen them step up from a solid and creative design house to a well respected partner to some of the major names within Optics and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.

They are now looking for a Controls Engineer, with experience in PLC Development and Electrical Design, to provide a creative spark to the R&D team. It's a great opportunity to get in early during a really exciting phase of the companies development, I can personally attest to how well the company move people through the business. Everyone that I have hired into the role went on to secure several promotions and provide real design and strategic influence on the future of the business.

In order to be considered for this roles, you will need experience :

• Control Systems Design
• PLC Programming (They typically use Rockwell but other programs will be considered)
• Electrical Design for Special Purpose Machinery or Capital Equipment

Salary for this role is ranged between £35 and £40,000 for the right candidate and career progression opportunities are abundant.
