Customer Support Engineer - Reading

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Support Engineer to join a company who are one of the world leaders in the design, manufacture and installation of sensors and monitoring systems used in volatile environments.

The business, which employs over 100 people, is based on the outskirts of Reading and have an Engineering department of 40 people consisting of Mechanical, Electronics, Software and other disciplines. The company is on a sustained growth path and is looking for highly motivated individuals who can join their growing team.

As Customer Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing first & second line technical support to customers, liaising with the Engineering department to provide continuous feedback in order to improve product design and reliability, providing documentation/manuals and assisting with technical sales & product training.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Degree e.g. Engineering
  • Technical background with after sales support experience
  • Broad technical understanding of mechanical/electrical engineering, electronics, networking etc.

In return, my client is offering a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, some remote working (currently being finalised) plus other great benefits.
