My client is looking for a Customer Technical Manager to lead the Group's technical support team, ensuring customer and consumer expectations are met and strong relationships are built. The role holder can be based in the midlands or the South West and will be required to travel to the different sites in the UK on a monthly basis.

You will oversee and directly manage the technical teams across the UK, managing technical relationships between all customers. You will be liaising closely with the site quality teams and facilitating customer site visits and audits ensuring customer expectations are met.

Experience in a Customer facing technical role is essential for this role as is your ability to build strong relationships. In this role you will act as part of the senior technical team helping to manage the group technical agenda, drive quality improvements and create a positive and engaged environment within the technical and operations teams in order to deliver on KPIs and the technical agenda that has been set.

To be successful in this role you will need;

  • Empowering team leader that has a clear vison
  • Degree in a Science or Food Technology
  • 5+ years industry experience in an influential technical/quality role.
  • Demonstrable operational experienced gained ideally in a FMCG environment.
  • Up to date with modern manufacturing methodologies.
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial thinker, interested in food and drink and improving quality systems.

In return you will receive a salary in the region of £50,000 along with a company Pension, Bonus, life assurance and Re-location package if applicable.
