Cyber Security and Infrastructure Engineer

At iO associates we have the pleasure of working with exclusively with a brilliant client who are on the look out for a security engineer with a background in infrastructure.

The team in question are looking for a candidate who would be able head up the current team with a strong security and infrastructure knowledge

The role would be based in Bath however it would be fully remote with occasional trips to the office, alongside a market competitive salary of up to £65,000

If you have experience of the following,

• Strong base of infrastructure and security skills
• Minimum 4 years experience within an IT security position
• Experience working under heavy regulations
• Strong understanding of security principles and a good working knowledge of security technologies

A bonus would be,

• Any industry recognised Information Security accreditation's such as SSCP, CISSP, CCSP, or ISO27001 Lead implementer are desirable
• Any experience mentoring or managing a team.

Role: Security/Infrastructure Engineer

Permanent

Location: Bath (Remote)

Salary: £60,000-£65,000

The role will involve,

• Hardening securing the companies current infrastructure.
• Managing and maintaining the offices infrastructure.
• Hands on running and supporting of complex environments.
• Mentoring other team members.
• Networking, firewalls, switches and routers.

Experienced needed,

• Strong base of infrastructure and security skills
• Minimum 4 years experience within an IT security position
• Experience working under heavy regulations
• Strong understanding of security principles and a good working knowledge of security technologies
