Cyber Security Engineer (Networks)

iO Associates are working with a rapidly growing company based in Cheltenham who are on the lookout for a Cyber Security Engineer.

This company is beginning its cyber journey and so this role will have significant influence over the company's environment.

Role: Cyber Security Engineer

Location: Cheltenham

Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 + benefits

This is a hands-on role, working across all aspects of the company's network.

This position will involve working with:

• SD-Wan
• Firewalls
• Fortinet
• Cisco Meraki
• DNS/ DHCP
• Anti-virus
• Active Directory

Experience in all the above isn't required; rather, the company is looking for someone with broad cyber security experience who is keen to roll their sleeves up.

This will be a project-focused role, largely focusing on implementing security protocols in the integration of new sites into the wider network.

This role will provide supporting documentation and be a champion for security best practice within the business. Whilst primarily a hands-on position, this Cyber Security Engineer will liaise with key stakeholders within the business.

The company is growing hugely and is turning its full attention to cyber security within the business. This role therefore has huge opportunity for growth and progression as the security team continues to grow.
