Role: Data Engineer

Location: Bristol (Fully Remote at the moment and then will be an at home/office split)

Salary and Benefits: £55,000 + flexible working, healthcare for you and family, pension contributions, allocated days for personal training and development, 25 days hols (plus bank holidays), regular company/team events & more!

Are you an experienced Data Engineer / Database Developer looking for your next exciting challenge?

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of our rapidly growing clients who are going through an exciting period of growth. They have had huge success in the last year and so are having to grow their team in order to cope with the demand.

The progression opportunities are huge as the Data Team grows, so will your career!

You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects and be responsible for maturing their handling of data from a variety of sources: third-party integrations, open-source datasets, in-house cloud data stores.

They also have an amazing innovation program so if you have ideas, you can take a day or two here and there to explore it for the company.

What they are looking for:

- Experience with any of the: Python, Java, Scala, Golang, Bash, Postgres, NoSQL, Big Data

- Azure or AWS experience, including building pipelines from on-premise environments

- Bonus: Big query, Kubernetes, Spark

They are still Business as usual and have software in place in order to conduct all interviews via video links and send your hardware to your home and get you started remotely!

As expected, everything is fully remote at the moment (interview, onboarding, working etc), and will stay fully remote for the time being. Once things return do return it will be an at home/office split
