iO associates are working on an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to join an established and forward-thinking Insurance company based in Cardiff

They are looking for someone who is looking for that next step up and the chance to be given more responsibility. They put a huge focus on data and data-driven decision-making allowing you to suggest new ideas, innovate, and drive the company forward.

Working closely with colleagues from across the business, you'll get the chance to expand your knowledge of different data technologies and explore new and exciting capabilities-including big data and artificial intelligence

They offer amazing support and allocate 4 hours a week for everyone in the company to focus on training and up-skilling so that you can fully progress your career.

They are looking for you to have experience in the following:

• SQL
• Azure
• ETL / Dataflows / Azure Data Factory
• Python (desirable)
• Databricks (desirable)

The company are still business as usual and are all set up to do interviews remotely via video link, once successful they will get all the equipment you need shipped to your home so that you can start as soon as possible!

As expected, everything is fully remote at the moment (interview, onboarding, working etc) but they are slowly opening the offices back up, you would be expected to travel in 1 or 2 days a week
