Are you an experienced Data Engineer / Database Developer looking for your next exciting challenge?

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of our established clients who are making waves in the gaming industry. They have had huge success year on year and so are looking to rapidly expand the business to cope with the ever-increasing demand!

The progression opportunities are huge as the Data Team grows, so will your career!

You'll be working to deploy data pipelines and processes in a production-safe manner, using the latest technologies. You will work on pulling the data properly in the view of feeding it back into the game in a year's time.

They also have an amazing innovation program so if you have ideas, you can take a day or two here and there to explore it for the company.

What they are looking for:

- Experience with any of the: Python, Java, Scala, Golang, Bash, Postgres, NoSQL, Big Data

- Azure or AWS experience, including building pipelines from on-premise environments

- Bonus: Big query, Kubernetes, Spark

They are still Business as usual and have software in place in order to conduct all interviews via video links and send your hardware to your home and get you started remotely!

As expected, everything is fully remote at the moment (interview, onboarding, working etc), and will stay fully remote from now on. Except for quarterly and ad hoc meetings when you would be required to travel to the offices in Cambridge
